For my photography brand, which supports moms-to-be through maternity boudoir photography, one of our most powerful freebies is a Birth Bag Checklist. It’s not just a cute download, it’s something they’ll actually print out and use. And that’s the whole point. A helpful freebie builds trust before they ever book with you.

I use this email to introduce myself and speak to the phase of life they’re currently in. I also invite them to follow me on Instagram.

Email #3 – Behind the Scenes of a Maternity Boudoir Session
This email gives a peek into the Pompy Portraits experience, from helping you get ready to hyping the mama-to-be up during her shoot and making sure her final photos shine in her home.

Email #4 – The Sell
This is the soft pitch. It’s not salesy, it’s an invitation. We let them know how they can reach out or ask questions and share a link to a blog about planning for a maternity photography session.

Email #5 – Reminder Email
This is a quick email to remind mamas when the best time to take maternity photos is. We also included a button to schedule a quick chat with us as the call-to-action.

You can absolutely make this sequence longer or shorter depending on your client journey, but what matters is consistency and value. Take a look at some of the emails below!
